Email verification services compared: pricing, API and limits
A documentation-based comparison of Bouncer, ZeroBounce, and Emailable, including published prices, billing, result types, integrations, and data handling.
Email verification services evaluate syntax, domain configuration and mailbox signals, then return a status for your workflow. They do not create consent, prove ownership, or guarantee that a future message will be delivered.

Price comparison at consistent list sizes
Prices are USD pay-as-you-go totals. “Not verified” means the current official page did not expose a dependable total in the documentation we could inspect; it is not an estimate.

- Evidence-based fit
- Teams wanting an API, embeddable signup widget, and a broad integration catalog.
How to choose for your use case
- Occasional small-list cleanup: compare the minimum purchase, expiry rule, and whether unknown results consume credits.
- Signup verification: prioritize documented real-time API or widget behavior, rate limits, and a test environment.
- CRM or marketing operations: confirm a native integration exists for your exact platform and understand what fields sync back.
- Catch-all-heavy B2B lists: preserve uncertainty. A catch-all domain can accept a probe without proving that the individual mailbox exists.
- Regulated or privacy-sensitive data: review the current DPA, subprocessors, hosting region, retention controls, and deletion process yourself.
Methodology and limitations
We selected three services with accessible official pricing and product documentation, then applied the same criteria: list-price billing, minimum purchase, expiry, API, integrations, bulk upload, result categories, catch-all treatment and data handling. We did not create vendor accounts, upload a sample, time processing, or independently measure accuracy. Vendor guarantees and performance statements were not used to rank the products.
A fair hands-on comparison would require the same authorized, recently labeled sample for every vendor, a documented result-mapping policy, repeated runs, and follow-up outcome data. A small test still would not establish overall accuracy. Never upload scraped or unauthorized personal data merely to compare tools.
