Terms of use

Last updated: June 6, 2026

Use of the service

MailHyve provides free, browser-based email tools. You may use them for any lawful purpose, including personal, commercial, and educational use. There's no signup required, no attribution obligation, and no separate commercial license to acquire — the output from any tool on this site is yours to use in client work, internal company communication, marketing campaigns, product interfaces, fixtures, and anywhere else you need it.

By using the site, you agree to these terms. They're short on purpose and we've tried to write them in plain English. If anything is unclear, the contact address at the bottom is the right way to ask.

What you can't do

Don't use the tools to send spam, phish, harass, or impersonate others. Don't generate signatures, addresses, or content meant to deceive the recipient about who they're talking to or whether a company is real. Don't attempt to disrupt the site or scrape it at high volume — the tools are free for human use, not for being wrapped into a competing product without permission. We reserve the right to block IPs that abuse the service or violate these limits.

Practical examples of what crosses the line: generating impersonating signatures for a person who hasn't consented; using the output of the cold-email generator to send unsolicited bulk mail at a scale that would qualify as spam under the CAN-SPAM Act, CASL, or PECR; running automated scripts that hit the site thousands of times per minute. Using the tools to produce content for a real campaign, your own signature, your own internal naming convention, or anything else where you're the legitimate sender is fine.

Intellectual property

The site, the design, and the underlying code are owned by MailHyve. The output of the generators — names, addresses, signatures, subject lines, email bodies, HTML — is yours. We don't claim ownership over anything you generate, and we don't require attribution back to the site when you use that output elsewhere.

Third-party services

The site displays Google AdSense ads to fund the project. Those ads are served by Google, governed by Google's terms, and link to third-party sites we don't control. We're not responsible for the content of advertised products or services, and clicking an ad takes you out of our jurisdiction. See the privacy policy for how ad cookies are handled.

No warranty

Tools are provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The generated outputs are suggestions; verify before using them in production systems or external communications. Examples of things to verify rather than trust blindly: generated email addresses against the actual mailbox (we don't check whether an address exists or accepts mail); subject lines and cold-email copy against your audience and your own compliance requirements; HTML signatures by sending yourself a test mail before installing the signature in your client.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MailHyve is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use of, or inability to use, the tools — for example, lost revenue from a campaign that didn't convert, delivery failures from an email infrastructure issue downstream of the generator, or any business impact from using generated output without verification. Because the service is free, our total liability for any direct claim is capped at the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim (zero, in nearly all cases).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally — typically to add a new section when a new tool or third-party integration ships. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes don't apply retroactively to use of the site before the update. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
