Privacy policy

The short version

Every tool on MailHyve runs entirely in your browser. The names, emails, and other inputs you type into our generators never leave your device. We don't have a server-side store, we don't log inputs, and we don't sell, share, or transmit them anywhere. There's no account system, no profile, no usage history — closing the tab is the only sign-out needed.

How the tools handle your inputs

Every generator is implemented in client-side JavaScript that ships as part of the page. When you type a name, paste a list, or upload a photo for the signature generator, that data stays inside your browser tab. The generated output is produced locally and rendered in the preview pane. No network request is made to send your input to a server because no server-side generator exists — there's nothing on our infrastructure that could log, retain, or process it even if we wanted to.

The photo upload in the signature generator is handled the same way. Images are read into the browser as a data URL and embedded directly into the HTML you copy out. They never reach our servers and they aren't cached anywhere we can access. If you clear your browser data, the inputs and any generated output are gone with it.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand which tools are used most so we know what to improve and what to build next. What that captures is limited to anonymous page-view data: the URL of the page you visited, the rough country it was visited from, the referring page, and broad device class (desktop or mobile). What it does not capture is the content of any form field, any keystroke, the output of any generator, or any identifier that could connect one visit to another.

Advertising

Pages may display Google AdSense ads. Google may set cookies to serve relevant ads — you can opt out at adssettings.google.com. Ads never appear inside the tool widgets themselves; they sit in clearly marked slots within the page content. Google's ad cookies are controlled by Google, not by us, and Google's own privacy and ad-personalization controls apply.

If you're in a region covered by GDPR, the CCPA, or similar regulation, the consent dialog you see on first visit governs whether personalized ads are served. Declining personalization still allows the site to operate normally — you see non-personalized ads instead.

Cookies and local storage

We do not set first-party cookies for tracking or identification. The only browser storage the site uses on its own is a small amount of local storage for UI preferences (for example, remembering whether you've dismissed the cookie banner). Third-party cookies set by AdSense are described above. Clearing your browser data removes all of it.

Your rights

Because we don't collect personal data, most data-rights requests don't have anything to act on — there's no profile we can delete, no inputs we can return, no record of your visits beyond aggregate analytics. If you'd like to exercise rights with respect to Google's ad cookies, the opt-out link above is the appropriate channel. If you have any other privacy question, email is the fastest path.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything material — a new analytics provider, a new third-party integration, a change to how a tool handles input — we'll update this page and bump the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes don't apply retroactively.
